Checklist for a successful transfer:

Please make sure you meet the following requirements otherwise your transfer will fail:

Server restriction

Currently the free server transfer to Magmeld is only available to players on the Chronos or Naia server.

Level

Your character must be level 40 or higher and have completed their second class transfer quest.

Level 1 character on Magmeld

You must create a level 1 character with the desired name on Magmeld. This character must stay at level 1 or the server transfer will fail. The level 1 character that is reserving your place and name on Magmeld, and everything associated with it (items, Adena, etc.) will be deleted once the server transfer process is complete.

Clan / Alliance / Hero Status

You must remove the character who will be transferring from his or her clan and alliances before you request a server transfer and you must remain un-clanned until the transfer is complete. Characters that have Hero status cannot transfer.

Items / Mail

You must delete all outgoing and incoming mail and remove any items in the Auction House.

What is transferrable?

  • A character's equipped items, level, skill information, and quest information will be transferred.
  • Quest items that are in the Quest Inventory.
  • Pets transfer, but their names will be reset.
  • Applied dyes and learned recipes, but not dyes and recipes as items.
  • The amount of Adena that will be transferred is based on level.
    Any Adena that exceeds these amounts will be deleted:
    • Lv40~75 : 1,800,000,000
    • Lv76~84 : 4,200,000,000
    • Lv85~ : 7,000,000,000
  • If a character has a subclass (or subclasses), the character must be set to his or her highest-level class, be it the main class or subclass, so the highest amount of Adena can be transferred.

What is non-transferrable?

The following items will NOT be transferred:

  • All items in your inventory that are not equipped.
  • Items in your warehouses and on the Dimensional Merchant.
  • Any time-limited items.
  • Zariche, Akamanah, and Hero weapons.
  • Friends list, mail, and macro information.
  • Clan and Territory Wars information, including related quests.
  • Olympiad points, Olympiad Tokens and Hero status.
  • Quest items/rewards that are in your regular inventory and can be traded or sold, such as Red Gem, Spirit Bead, Blueprint: Tower of Insolence, etc.
  • Mentor and Mentee information will be reset.
  • Some L2 Store and L2 Galleria items are not transferrable. Click on this link to find out which items can be transferred.
